Last month, our family braved the heat of the California high desert and took a little trip to Palm Springs thanks to family-friendly vacation rental company, Kid & Coe, who generously hosted us at their East Sonora Residence. We spent four solid days and three peaceful nights both unwinding and adventuring during the Palm Springs off-season, and I truly can't say enough about venturing east while most tend to avoid the area in the midst of the summer. While afternoon temps reached the triple digits, we were honestly unfazed thanks to the property's gorgeous pool and patio area, a powerful A/C, and regular ice cream outings—and the lack of crowds and noise (aside from the hum of cicadas) made it feel like a true escape from the LA bustle. We're already looking forward to our next excursion, but for now, I'll just reminisce over these snapshots.
