Los Angeles has its fair share of beautiful women, this is true—but few are as loving and down-to-earth as the subject of Doên's most recent Journal feature that I photographed recently in Santa Monica. Stacie Hess is not only a brilliant photographer, budding jewelry designer, and long-time Doên supporter—she's also an adoring mother to her daughter Amelia, who joined us for the shoot and was equally wonderful to work with. Doên's own Phoebe Dean and Stacie share a lot more here, but I thought I'd post a few favorites to my site as well, because every single Journal session becomes one of my all-time favorites and this shoot was no exception!
