Dia:Beacon Spring Benefit | New York event photographer

For a photographer/art lover, it doesn't get much dreamier than a 300,000 square foot, naturally lit contemporary art gallery located on the banks of the Hudson River—so needless to say, photographing the Dia:Beacon Spring Benefit was a sincere honor and an absolute delight. This year's daytime event, produced by the ever-amazing Cait and Jules, packed over 400 guests into the sprawling space where attendees could roam the grounds and catch a glimpse of a newly opened—and absolutely breathtaking—Robert Irwin installation (among other iconic works). The museum itself is a true destination for anyone looking for an easy and exotic escape out of NYC, and yesterday's event provided just that for a posh crowd of city dwellers, philanthropists, art enthusiasts, and those who identify as all three.
